These carefully handcrafted hanging moss balls enhance your space & are lots of fun to make. Loosely translated ‘Koke’ means moss and “dama’ means ball. Thus they are also known as Japanese moss balls. Kokedamas imbues the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-sabi meaning the appreciation of the imperfections of nature and the transience of natural beauty. Kokedamas are a reflection of Wabi-sabi principles.

We have been making these hanging moss ball plants for fifteen years and have tried and tested many plants and materials over this time.

This is a beautiful and relaxing art form that you can use to create more as gifts or for your home.

This workshop runs for two hours and we can come to you or host in one of our spaces.
